While it was a relief and it has taken the pressure off financially, I have still kept my part time work @Shaz51 as there likely will come a time when I won't qualify for the carer payment and might have to go on Newstart.

feeling a bit better now but not sure wheather to say something to my cousin or just let it go
I know Mr shaz is liking my cousin less now after that
yes i got the carers pension today and we are still keeping our regulars as we don't know how long i will be able to get the pension
it would be good if we still got the aged pension when we turned 60

A very pleasant surprise @Shaz51 . You could say that they finally got it right (second time around) ... better late than never. I am very relieved for you Shaz as its something you should have had ages ago. I expect it will help relieve some of Mr Shaz's anxiety too. 👍

That's great news about the Carers Pension - that's a plus @Shaz51
You know you cousin Shaz - she has crossed a line here but probably she means the best but I wouldn't like it myself - my sister took over when our parents died and I felt pushed out - it's a sensitive time - that's for sure and I feel for you
So perhaps you could thank your cousin and ask her to wait about organising anything else until after your mother dies - maybe she just wants to be included - I understand - it's too soon for you to think about it
Oh dear- Dec💜💙🦉😷
