Re: not feeling good

Hi again @Razzle

I seem to have spent a lot of time on-line this weekend and people have been supportive - the last few weeks have been difficult - my daughter had an operation and my cat had to be put to sleep and there were some other things so it was great and is great today to have so much support from my forum-family

Having a shower with all that happening must be an exercise in patience - and at this time of year with the humidity it is harder to get by with a lick and a promise

I had a knee arthroscopy last year - I am used to crutches so they were not a problem but because I am getting a bit older and live alone I got to spend the night in hospital and going to the toilet was a real exercise in trying not to laugh when I was really battling and I would have cried had I not been laughing. The nurses wanted to escort me to and from the loo which was okay I guess but I am a big girl now and would rather do this alone and at least I think the whole thing was funny -

I wonder though if I had gone straight home after the operation as people often do now days - I gave up the crutches at home - I get it that you need them and that can be a bother - I hear you and yep - I know - but the crutches in a small space is really weird

Two weeks to go Raz - I bet it feels as if it has been forever

Re: not feeling good

@Owlunar  Sorry to hear about your cat, it’s so hard to loose a pet, they are so much like family.

I have only been on the forums a few months, and I feel like I have more genuine, real friends here that are more supportive than anyone I know off the forums.  This time of year is a real struggle for me so it’s nice to know I can check in here and get some real support from other people that have or are experiencing similar problems.

I hope your daughter feels better soon.

Re: not feeling good

@Owlunar@Razzle I might go to shops tonight snd print the photos.  It will be quieter tonight.

@Razzle I feel for you snd understand how difficult it must be for you the way hubby is. Mine is similar.

And it must be very frustrating for you with the garden growing weeds so quickly and you can’t get out there. It good to see that hubby is helping in the garden.

Do you think hubby is scared or not knowing what to say to you to help you. I think my hubby just doesn’t know what to say or do to help.

It would be nice to get some positive feedback from him. But that doesn’t happen.

@Owlunar wishing your daughter a speedy recovery. But it takes times doesn’t it? I’ve never had a hysterectomy but I know it can take up to 6 weeks if recovery. Hope she’s getting help at home.

I’m feeling tired tiday.

My youngest son helped hubby finish the sleepers. It looks really good.

My reflux is terrible tiday. Bit of psin.

It’s so humid here.

Re: not feeling good

Hi everyone @Razzle@Owlunar@Zoe7@Shaz51@Former-Member@Faith-and-Hope

now thst the garden is complete hubby wants it kept like thst forever. So poor jersey isn’t allowed to go near that area in case “she wrecks it”. I know when a dark comes along she raves to the fence in between the plants just to bark at the dog. So fir now he has put a bit timber across one side so she can’t get to the new part. But you can’t do this forever. She is a dog and csnt stsy in a confined area. I’m sitting outside with my younger son and I’ve moved the temp timber. Jersey us happily walking around and she hadn’t touched the new garden. Hubby cracks it and says ”oh well if jersey wrecks the garden you guys can fix it I’m not going to fix it”. I zipped my mouth shut and ignored what he said.

I know he wants the garden to look nice so do I but eith a dog you just can’t hrlp it at times.

Re: not feeling good

Is it really about the garden or his expectations in general @BlueBay Hi

Re: not feeling good

I think it’s his expectations @TAB you’re right.

I’m nearly 100% thst he has OCD. He drives me crazy with stuff thst he does. He niw has lined up all the coffee cups and it annoys the crap out of me so I move the cups around!!! I know I can be naughty at times lol 😂
