Re: ~ Toolshed 2: Power Tools for Recovery ~

@MissGremlin Eew creepy rascal ratty rat 🐀

I had the same thing when I lived in the Faraday A-frame. I didn’t hesitate eradicating vermin. I was 5 meters from a Hay Shed and there was a more than one tiger snake living in the third tier of the hay bail stack. I met one on 43 degree day. We acknowledged each turned and went our separate ways.

I walked into the saddle room and laying dead was this rodent of unusual size ROUS - the thing was huge.

I had to ask the Horse trainer to dispose of the corpse 🥴

Re: ~ Toolshed 2: Power Tools for Recovery ~

I also only use my phone, which can mess with my head.

I still can't get that bloody security camera working even though my phone tells me that it's linked and connected.  One more effort today and then in the bin it goes. Probably shouldn't buy online from dodgy sites (T, blocked but keeps popping up).

Will try @moderator and tech support.

BTW @MissGremlin @Jynx @Glisten @Meowmy @PeppyPatti

has anyone heard from @MB2226. Not asking for details here, just concerned about him/her.

Hi @Taali

Just getting back to you here is the message from our tech team. Here’s how you may be able to find messages that weren’t finished or clicked out of before posting:

Click on your avatar to open 'My profile' in the top banner.

Sometimes your message will auto‑save and show up as a Draft. You will see any autosaved messages here under 'Drafts' Just keep in mind that drafts don’t always save every time -but it’s still worth checking to see if anything appears there.

I hope this helps.

Thank you

Re: ~ Toolshed 2: Power Tools for Recovery ~

@Glisten i did find a hole that leads to under the house so I've blocked that off now.

Oh the tiger snake encounter would have made the heart skip a beat.

Oh icky, I've found a few dead outside and they come in various sizes. Must admit I'm not a fan of having to dispose of them.

Re: ~ Toolshed 2: Power Tools for Recovery ~

@Taali hoping you've been able to locate where the messages can sometimes hide?

As for hearing from the member, often people will come and go for various reasons. Sometimes you won't hear from someone for ages and then they'll pop up again. Life gets busy, things change and this space might not be what they need in the moment etc. The Mods keep an eye on things and if there's concerns from posts on the forums they'll usually check in with them via email. But as a community the best we can do is just let them know we're thinking about them and that we're here if they need us.

Thankyou @wonderingalice1 for the help for Taali ☺️.

Re: ~ Toolshed 2: Power Tools for Recovery ~

@MissGremlin  good rodent tracking. They do chew through almost anything.

Years ago a friend’s car engine caught on fire 🔥 while parked at Uni. Rodents 🤭

Re: ~ Toolshed 2: Power Tools for Recovery ~

@Glisten they do, such annoying creatures. The hole I've filled was filled previously properly and the little turd has chewed through it 😂.

Oh no that's horrible, they really do so much damage.
