The sex-on-demand to try for children can be pretty punishing. It sounds like there are lots of interwoven threads there @BlueBay. But nothing that can't be addressed. I would have hoped that your sex therapist did everything possible to make it comfortable for you to open up. But perhaps they didn't hit on quite the right approach..
Start with the hormone test and then consider another stab at therapy to address some of the other issues. It's all about the right therapist. You may not have hit upon that person yet.
