Newbie

Hi, just a bit about me: now that I've typed that I actually don't know where to start..

I'm a single woman living alone with my tiny, naughty, spoilt dog.

I have battled with various demons on and off for quite a while. I'm looking to connect to give and receive support.

Now recovering from yucky surgery non-mental health related and keen to become involved in this forum.

I'm very keen to share hope and support where I can.

Bye for now.

Taali

Re: Newbie

Hi, for me it’s a 11 y/o spoilt cat. Her brother passed away last year and now she is the Princess of the universe.

Re: Newbie

So she should be, it's amazing how much our fur babies mean to us.

My little girl definitely rules the roost. 😍

Re: Newbie

What breed is your tiny, naughty spoilt dog?! 😋 @Taali

Re: Newbie

Morning @hopeful_hannah

And welcome @Taali. @Keshie 😊

How are you going this morning?

I have had cats 🐈 in the past but don't have any at the moment

Reading your messages brought back lots of my cat stories to me

Have you got a cat @hopeful_hannah

@Jynx  has

Re: Newbie

Gooooood morning @Shaz51 😊

Good to see you 😋

No I don't have cats, I have a dog. His name is Fred. He is a 9-year-old Hungarian Vizla X something, maybe Lab. We rescued him from the RSPCA last year. He is a sweet, super affectionate older gentleman.

Yes, funny cat stories and memories! I had cats once upon a time as well.

Magic and Midnight, brothers. They were beautiful big boys, one all black and one black and white. They used to like sleeping in the drawers my children would leave open and our ginormous clean washing pile that never got folded 😂

Re: Newbie

Fred sounds adorable 😍 @hopeful_hannah

Over the years I had inherited grandmas cat -- black cat 🐈️

And the neighbours cat Jack

Others were snowie, sweetie, and Missy

loved hiding in the bags

Re: Newbie

Thank you so much for the warm welcome. It gave me a much needed pick up after a difficult night. I'm still a little concerned about how much information is appropriate to post. I'll just say that I am on a bumpy little ride, but welcoming some valuable professional support, even though it is sometimes difficult to address challenges and the whole puzzle that is me.

Is it appropriate to share diagnosis, treatment and care?

Cheers, T
