Hi all. I'm [name removed by moderator] from South Australia. I have recently joined as I need help after 3 deaths in 10 months & an attack on myself & my eldest son by my youngest son. Life has been pretty rough. Normally I can put things in a box & just go with it but this time I'm struggling to find how to get through it.
Thanks for reading

Hello @Lee7111
That is a heavy load of grief to experience and to work through. It could have lead to the disturbance with your younger son. It would be too much to put in a box. I hope you can find some professional support, like a referral to a psychologist through a Gp, as well as reaching out here on the forum. There are a range of ways the forum community can help, some support from peer workers or people sharing their stories. Sometimes more social interactions can help while you navigate life as it unfolds. Take it gently with yourself as family conflict can be tricky.

Hello @Lee7111,
Thank you so much for reaching out and sharing your story with us, that must have taken so much courage. What you have been through sounds incredibly painful and overwhelming. You're allowed to grieve and feel what you are feeling, because it really is a lot.
What support do you feel you need most right now? Maybe we can start there? 💛

This is completely fair @Lee7111, I think being heard could be really healing for you.
Would you feel comfortable sharing more about how you're feeling with us? Or are you thinking of exploring some in-person support? (Both would be really helpful!) 💛

@Lee7111 I believe your circumstances deserve a fair bit of support. I have not always known who would be a good fit for me, but each time we express ourselves can help , and it may be different from day to day and from person to person. Have you been able to look up psychologists, counselling or therapists in your area? Usually a Gp. Is the usual way to access those services.
In my grief journeys it has been important, to keep a few objects, Eg photos, or gifts or books, that help me both connect to and let go of my loved ones. It kind of ebbs and flows. Journaling can also help.
