Re: ~ Toolshed 2: Power Tools for Recovery ~

@GezzaP sounds like a good plan. I'm just laying in bed listening to music.

Thank you @PeppyPatti ☺️❤️ and yeah uni is hard work (feels like a lot of hard work), but studying a major I’m interested in is what’s most important of all ☺️

Re: ~ Toolshed 2: Power Tools for Recovery ~

@Chasingsunsetsso I did wanna mention something that sorta happened last evening that lead me to say what I mentioned in my initial post on this thread in the first place.

i attended a zoom hangout session that was specifically for ND people (myself included) but this session is under a different organisation (not the one I’m doing my placements at). I wrote something about the things I’ve been thinking about & scared of on the chat function & I included emojis in my message to represent on how I feel about the situation i was thinking, right? So the host person read my message, then when it got to the emojis part that I included in that message, she made some faces to replicate the faces of the emojis which I thought was very unnecessary and the rest of the group were having a bit of a laugh about those ‘emoji’ faces she made and then they were all talking about emojis for a whole ass minute… also, none of them had anything to say about what I wrote except for one person but she only asked me like two questions and that was it. It was my first time joining that session & the host seems like a nice person (I’ve seen her twice). Perhaps because it’s a social hangout session and not a peer support session but yea I don’t see why they weren’t willing to do what I was expecting from them. That explains my original post when I mentioned about that it’s sad we live in a world where the entire population in this world aren’t willing to go out their way to help those out that are struggling and really need a shoulder to cry on.

@MissGremlin thanks for tools. Really help.

Re: ~ Toolshed 2: Power Tools for Recovery ~

Hey @Blackcloud, how’s your evening? Thanks for sharing what was happening for you yesterday. Sorry you didn’t feel heard when you typed in some emojis to represent how you feel. Sometimes I have done that and find it very helpful but I hear you felt you weren’t understood 😞 we are all here to sit with you and supply an e- shoulder if you need one 💛
