That's a shame about the park blokes @ArraDreaming
With the foot shooting is that why we don't see you on the main forums anymore?
I miss your sunday chats and your great AI photos.
I am missing not having my dog as well at the moment.
It's really hard when you feel isolated.
What about the local land council (I don't know what you call them in Vic) but where you went with your kids the other day to have them welcomed to country. Is Mrs AD mob?

Oh yeah I totally get that @ArraDreaming I have lived by myself for 50 years and not having anyone to say, hey did you see that or hear what they said on the radio just then or whatever is really hard.
Now my Dad has passed away I feel it more because there are certain things we would talk about and I sometimes see someting and think oh should tel Da.....oh.
We talked about nature a lot and now there's not really many people with his deep understanding of nature to talk to, well I don't know them at least.
I once went to a MH expo near me and the local mob had a stand and I talked to them and they said yeah come over we have mob from all over Australia, you don't ahve to be local mob. I haven't had the guts yet.

@ArraDreaming I do live by myself so don't have people around me, but the amount of people that say to me or I read about who say they are lonely, or have no one to talk to even though they are surrounded by heaps of people is enormous.
Sometimes I think it can be a bit harder because you sometimes don't feel as though you can talk to those people because of the dynamics. Like you are not going to suddenly talk to young children about how you feel. Soemtimes it might be difficult to talk to adults because you know they have their own stuff going on and you don't want to "trouble" them.
Do you have other mates you can talk to even if you meet at the park and talk while you watch the kids play?
